A year later, Gen Mike Flynn writes an op-ed for The Hill on Gulen, stating that “Washington is harboring Turkey’s Osama bin Laden.”

So I’m not putting Chuck Ross on trial.
I’m simply curious who was a possible source for the information on Flynn’s lobby contract.
The previous day before Ross’s piece appeared, Nov 10, 2016, the American Enterprise Institute posted an article by Michael Rubin that claims Flynn “whitewashes” Erdogan’s behavior.

On Nov 14, 2016, Rubin writes a AEI blog post asking whether cash from Turkey is flowing to “unregistered foreign agents.”
He does not name Mike Flynn.

Rubin keeps up the heat on Flynn, publishing a critical op/ed in the New York Daily News on Nov 19 and an op/ed in Newsweek on Nov 22.

Chuck Ross also continues with follow up articles, including meetings between Mike Flynn and alleged representatives of the Turkish governments.

Previously I have written about the government of Turkey investigating 17 people in the failed coup attempt against Erdogen in July 2017.
Michael Rubin is one of the 17 alleged conspirators.
Rubin did, indeed, predict a military takeover in Turkey before it was attempted.
Good guess, maybe?

As I stated previously, Chuck Ross has been an outstanding reporter during Spygate.
His biggest scoop was outing Stefan Halper as an FBI informant.
