A few months back I met a couple from #Utah #USA in #Turkey who come here (To Turkey) 4 times a year for #Chemo alternative therapy for the wife’s cancer. They said “even with the airline tickets & hotels it is far better , more effective & far cheaper than in #USA.
Isn’t the time to say “NO” & “Enough” When human lives, health & welfare ... are all sacrificed for Big #Pharma #Lobby & #Pharma profits? Just asking.

This woman’s doctor ordered her #cancer drugs, which were denied and delayed, not by her “very expensive” insurance, but by a pharmacy benefit manager her insurance required her to use.

Is that legal? Yes. It’s happening to thousands across the country.

There are currently 17M Americans with #cancer.
41% of us will get some form of cancer in our lifetimes.
That's nearly half of us.
Everyone knows someone with cancer.
So we have to be vigilant and we have to take care of ourselves--lower that stress, first and foremost.

Close friend just asked that I further explain the linkage between #Turkey ‘s Economic polices and the exchange rate. Why is the Lira falling?

The reason is that the 16% inflation rate is too high and requires higher interest rates to compensate savers/investors ==>more
2-Note that Lira’s fall has come after #Turkey achieved credit fueled 7.4% economic growth (one of fastest amongst G20). Higher growth brought more imports (all energy imported) and added to the persistently large trade/current account deficits. Such Deficits have to be funded
3-Funding need of #Turkey to pay for this trade/current account deficit is estimated at $230 Billion per year. This is what happens when you persistently import more than you expert. Foreigners suffering from low rates in G3 & in search of higher returns funded this deficit
