If the current admin mean well for Nigeria and have kept their promises to Nigerians, this debate is done already. All they need do is point to what they have done and justify the need to complete their work. It is as easy as that. They have failed. Simple. #NeverAgain
Corruption is not about stealing public funds alone. Nepotism, Abuse Of Office, subjugation of the rule of Law, religious bigotry etc are part of the catalytic factors that promote poverty and cripple productivity. The deliberate weakening of our institution is a critical factor.
Our current crop of rulers are the major cause of Poverty now for they are corrupt and the main reason why companies are failing and FDI has flatlined. This is what I meant by deliberate weaponization of poverty but they want you to believe some people stole money thus our state.
They are stealing now daily. Their cronies stole a lot through Bureau de Change/FX windfall when the government came in with the ban on 41 items. Cronies were breaking bad. The fact is out there but for the braindrain and conditioning to propaganda.
The kind of leaders we need must not have the mindset that someone MUST lose for them to WIN. The 16years Narrative is dumb and unintelligent. If we must talk about the ruins of the past we must go further to the 80s where the current President is complicit as well.
The VP disappointed as always with his closing remarks. Nigeria is not 16years old. No social program will reinvigorate a nations deliberately impoverished by their administration. It is like trying to wake up a man pretending to sleep. It is all isomorphic mimicry. Noise & lies
There is absolutely no reason why Corruption will be enticing without the apprehension against lack/poverty. It is the hopelessness and artificial scarcity (bad punitive policies/uncertainty) that reduce citizens to their primal instinct. Why smuggle in abundance?
Without the Govt clamping on the dollar and screaming about jailing all their perceived political enemies, why would investors fear and take out their money from the economy? In a country where soldiers kill thousands over their religious practice does this inspire confidence?

It is unimaginable that a Govt that smuggles the wards of their cronies into CBN, FIRS, Immigrations etc would come before us with a straight face and talk about corruption like it is alien to their caucus without realizing that we are not all Zombies feeding from their palms.
They have marginalized our youth and stolen their opportunity. They left the Security Institutions unregulated and balkanized till they became a threat to our civilization and democracy. The future of our country is endangered and human rights mean nothing. Yet they yap inanities
Our young ones now want to be like the corrupt politicians regardless of their acronyms. They want to lie like Pastors and break the law like Professors of law who justify & cover up evil daily. They want to steal and be hailed like senators who never got reprimanded for treason.
Poverty is never the lack of money but the indolence and the lack of drive to be productive, innovative and impactful. Suffice to say that poverty is lifelessness. No matter how much you steal it will not show because the money will not Grow sadly.
This is why we can not account for anything tangible under this admin yet huge sums have grown wings from several budgets in 3 Budget cycles. There is fraud everywhere you look across MDAs. Yet full time is given to heist while they hypocritically point fingers for distraction.
There is no single original idea from this administration. Every policy is either hurriedly copied or plagiarized without understanding even up to the ridiculous #NextLevel rhetoric. This is a grave sign of lack of vision and impotence. They can’t offer us anything more than lies

I am not impressed with the overall debate by the way. It was drab, moderation was below par and only measure up to a grade 5 assembly. The candidates did their best but not enough to convince anyone to leave their homes to vote under unfavorable condition.
The atmosphere fails to demonstrate the critical nature of the coming election. Candidates didn’t act like they want our votes enough with the passion showcased. It is more like there is an alternative out there. The insincerity of the organizers on @YeleSowore is another.
Those hailing Governor Peter Obi probably don’t know him much. This is not his best outing and I believe it only measures up to the kind of people he is batched with. He forgot he really is not in competition with them but selling himself to the people who are far smarter.
I commend all participants for at least showing up being that their role in any government if successful will only be advisory while the major decisions will be made by their principals. For this I commend them all for their response and attendance.
I was particularly hard on the VP HE @ProfOsinbajo because my expectation for a Professor of Law & Vicar who is currently in Govt will always be higher but this is in no way a measure of disrespect/denigration of your person/office. I know you can do better if you choose to.
In the last admin, I doubt if anyone recalls the voice texture of the VP then. Maybe because he wasn’t sent to the market to share money but I digress. The current VO is far more active and does most of the talking on non-Critical issues while he equivocate on Critical ones.
This will hurt any active citizen especially when the President don’t give account to anyone except when he is on foreign soil trying to sell himself as an endangered specie amongst other citizens. This must change at least with a credible, fair and free election come 2019.
While gullible citizens engage in semantics while being played, I’ll advise that we see beyond the coloration of our lenses. Reality is reality regardless of what you have chosen to see. Raise productivity, accountability & transparency & corruption/Poverty is strangulated. 
One of the ways to ensure this is to employ of vote for Competency, Credibility, Capability, Conscientiousness, Clarity, Character and a leader who listens and can tame his ego. A team player who can indentify competencies enough to allow them work dutifully.
Vote a Nigerian not just someone with affiliation with Nigeria who likes the system in its dysfunctional state enough to exploit the loopholes to perpetuate himself and cronies in power. Employ someone who values life and human rights. People who won’t lie to us & grandstand.

Obi ought to have mentioned that all the railway deals were signed under President @GEJonathan before this admin made GE pull out of the Lagos-Kano project leading to the concession to TransNet (A South African Govt Entity).
This means Nigerian railway will be operated and owned by the South African Govt. First of its kind. If the debate was focused on infrastructure it is good for @OfficialPDPNig but bad for @OfficialAPCNg as nothing really happened in 3.5years of APC chaotic rule & abuse of power!
Finally, in sane climes and civilized democratic societies, few campaigns have ever been won by stressing that all ills in society were caused by a predecessor. How much responsibility have they taken in 3.5years? Zero! The have even blamed God.

Don’t sing their faux Corruption fight song. It is a distraction. They are strangulating the Nation’s productivity, weaponizing poverty and culturing same with handouts and needless social programs, while they consistently fail on Economy, Social safety contract and Security.
The focus for them is creating a primal state of dependents who feeds off Govt’s benevolence and religiously endorses inanities to secure the guarantee of crumbs. If you allow this it will continue. A government that gives you handout seeks absolute control and zombie state.
