I'm from the Saganace family on the Cote First Nation reserve, and I'm Makwa Doodem which is a very clunky way to say I'm from Bear Clan. I trace my families back to the YellowQuill Reserve via the Taysup family,

I'm also a disabled, LGBTQIPA woman, a sci-fi writer, and mom

Besides cerebral palsy, & spinal stenosis, I have several mental disabilities like dyscalculia, as well as having a few mental illnesses like cPTSD, severe anxiety disorder, & "disorders otherwise not specified" ( read: I'm a Native.)

I also have diabetes.
I'm six feet two inches tall (Yes) & weigh 389 lbs/176.kg
I'm 42 years old
( exact birthday is a secret for safety reasons))

I'm also an artist, though my hands shake so much I haven't painted or drawn in... over a year?

just an update, I['m still paying off medical debt. I cannot afford to get any health care for my teeth right now, and even with medicare I can't cover %20 of non teeth medical expenses. Medicare doesnt cover teeth and Medicaid doesnt either.
And before you ask "Have you tried?"

I do not qualify for
free dental care: you have to be legit homeless, I've applied
reduced fee dental college treatment: I do not qualify for discounted care
church charity: Nope, I've been turned down
Going to Mexico: That's stilll a huge upfront fee

TW I try not to use ableist terms but:

I am stupid: I was/am intellectually disabled. It's part of my hidden disabilities vs the visible ones.

I have dyscalculia (bad at math) dyslexia, episodic aphasia, etc, possibly from cerebral palsy (actual brain damage at birth)

this does not mix well with the trauma I've experienced in my life, which may play a part in my chronic pain-insomnia or painsomnia
