The strategic & coordinated campaigns for global vaccine roll-outs & uptake, must be understood as #advertising/ marketing. The more subtle, the more effective. Billions $$$ have been invested for one simple reason: huge returns. What we see today - has been years in the making.

Working w/ the Behavioral Insights Team, on the ground, the gov't carried out "a very effective carrot&stick strategy" on the entire population in 2 days. It is safe to assume lessons learned from pilots, such as this one, will be now be applied to mass #vaccination programs.

A HCP in an area with 2% prevalence was promised an approx. €900. The average monthly salary of a doctor is €2,400 & of a nurse €850. This "incentive" helped recruit 100% of HCPs.
