Intanto dal bollettino #ISS del 2 novembre si evince che i #vaccinati si contagiano, finiscono in ospedale, ed anche al camposanto per #COVID19 più dei #novax.

Since it's the 65th anniversary of the Sputnik launch, and the event took place at IKI RAN, there was a lot of talks about the scientific space program, which is rare these days.

Nel suo ultimo report di ieri, @istsupsan ha occultato (in mala fede?) alcuni dati essenziali per il calcolo indipendente delle incidenze di contagi, ricoveri, TI e decessi per classe d’età e status vaccinale. Ha infatti rimosso la segmentazione della popolazione.

Inoltre, ha eliminato le incidenze sulla popolazione vaccinata con una dose. Ma, come sempre, il diavolo fa le pentole ma non i coperchi e anche @istsupsan ha lasciato in giro le tracce che ci consentono di desumere i dati mancanti con un po’ di algebra.
Prima osservazione: i report del 28.12.21 e del 5.01.22 avevano riportato i medesimi dati sui totali della popolazione per fascia d’età:
- 12-39: 17.436.265
- 40-59: 18.431.602
- 60-79: 13.572.008
- 80+: 4.570.070
Utilizzeremo quindi anche noi questi totali per i nostri calcoli.

Here's a nearby sounding at 12:00 UTC on 13 Jan, which is around the time of the eruption (15:00 UTC on 13 Jan). Tropopause at ~16.5 km. Note all temperatures warmer than -85°C, which suggests undercooling of the plume.

So based on the current scheduled missions going to the #ISS and need an IDA docking adapter. The earliest time there will be a docking adapter availble for the #OFT2 mission will be the 2nd half of November 2021.
So after the departure of the #Crew2 mission currently scheduled for the 8th of November, however the #Crew3 has to redock their capsule from #IDA2 to #IDA3 first. However on the 5th of December SpaceX Cargo Dragon #CRS24 needs that docking port again.
I partly blame @SpaceX here that they designed the new Cargo Dragon capsule like the Crew Dragon with IDA docking adapter instead of berthing hatch like they did with Dragon V1. The situation would be much better/flexible if only crewed vehicle would use the IDA adapters.

Q: How is the experiment going to work A: Using a tissue chip system going on a scaffold the way our skeletal muscles are organized. Will look at different time points after a week will preserve the sample to study on Earth.
