NEW on coming #Putin @realDonaldTrump summit: (2nd THREAD)
1. In recent days #Moscow passed a two-page document to #Washington that should serve as a basis/draft for a bilateral communique the two Presidents should present after the #Helsinki talks.

2. According to #Rus sources #US accepted the paper but insisted an issue of "#Russia/n interference into American elections in 2016" is mentioned with due guarantees that this doesn't happen again.

3. Other statements on paper allegedly include themes of"sustaining dialogue b/n #Russia/n, #US officials,diplomats,military&security services" as well as development of economic ties,promotion of people-to-people contacts.Bilateral coop called one of factors for global stability

4.Meanwhile in the run-up to the summit,#Russia's Center for the Study of Public opinion presented its latest survey according to which 56% of Russians "don't expect substantial results from the summit",33%-expect "positive outcome",1%-negative outcome,10%-undecided.

5. At the same time, 54% of surveyed "don't expect changes in #US-#Russia relations in 2-3 years,25%-expect the relations to get better,9%-"the rels will get worse",12%-not sure which way the rels will go.

6.The overall attitude towards #US, according to the survey,remains negative.Only 29% saif they view #America favorably.The good news for US-number of those who view US critically fell from 39% (in 2014) to 26% and "very critically" from 27% to 14%. 31% not sure how they view US

So, @netanyahu is meeting #Putin tonight at 7 pm (#Moscow time) then will go to see #WorldCup semi-final #EnglandvsCroatia.
#Iran's SP adviser Ali Akbar Velayati will meet w/ #Russia's President early tomorrow. Stay tuned.

No sooner @netanyahu wil leave #Moscow, then #Palestine's Abbas lands in #Russia late Thursday to meet with #Putin on Friday.
So, there's high chance #MiddleEast peace plan will as well be touched upon at the #Helsinki summit.
