THREAD: Watching today's @FERC monthly open meeting. Among the highlights: a potential final decision to pursue a $20M enforcement case against Energy Transfer over the Rover #pipeline, and action on #transmission line ratings.

... any Balancing Authority (regional system operator) resulted in one of those BAs needing to isolate itself ("Island") from its interconnected neighbors, then was not reconnected (synchronized) once its system demonstrated system stability for (some) period of time. 3/
If you think gas and energy prices are bad now, just wait as the climate crisis continues to take a toll on infrastructure (wildfires, floods, hurricanes, wind). Pumping more gas is only a temporary pricing fix, but it's a long term accelerator creating more issues.
Things we can do now: 1. decentralize to more resilient power (rooftop solar, batteries, microgrids) 2. decarbonize (wind, solar, geothermal) 3. Less individual transport, more bicycling/walking/mass transit first, EVs if you can, hybrid where necessary. 4. lots of disaster prep.
ps. I'm chuckling at all the folks commenting on "that's so dark" or "why the depressing content"... you must have missed reading any of the posts on this account through the last two dozen disasters ;-)

#Spot #lithium traded as above is usually representative of tiny volumes at different districts in China. Could probably spend a whole thread describing lithium prices in different areas but that'd be a waste of time. Take away point is the volume is tiny but it's a trend.
The head price you see here is representative of what traders/chemical producers are getting for product sold typically to #cathode #producers who use the chemicals to create lithium batteries.

After 2 years and 7 months I have resigned from my post as the director of #PMPML. My tenure working for the public transportation body has been one of the most rewarding and educating experiences of my life.
Guided by the then CM @Dev_Fadnavis ji, my priority and goal was to provide #eco-friendly transportation for #Pune. Am happy to share that in my tenure we not only procured 990 new buses; none of them are diesel and 150 fully #electric buses are already plying our roads.
500 new buses will be arriving soon to give the much needed impetus to Pune's public transportation.
I would like to thank the management, the staff and workers of #PMPML for their efforts in us achieving our goals.
