How do I generate FREE leads for my business?

#sales #salestips
2. •A little research to start. I identified a common challenge faced by #smallbusinesses – lead management. Most businesses struggle with optimum usage of #sales CRMs. They either don’t have a system to manage leads or fail to utilize the functions of a #CRM
3. I created a free Excel based lead management sheet. The LMS is easy to use and has in-built reports to track #sales KPIs and trends

This is the truth...A🧵
Everyday *THEY* game the system. Everyday we are forced to play their game with no ROI. It's rigged against #smallbusinesses & #startups outside SV/1% $. Building a biz is nearly impossible if you're not a wht guy.
Yet they avoid paying more taxes? 1/17
Social impact is not immune. On a website of an out of touch "social impact investor" (saw this today!) who only funds businesses 3 years + with annual revenue $750k +. Suggestion from their FAQ for startups is appalling for a fund claiming to help the neediest of businesses. 2/ A screen shot of black type...
"We require a minimum of three years in operation for financing, and thus do not fund start-ups. For capital to get your social enterprise off the ground, we recommend reaching out to friends and family, or an angel investor network in your area." Why didn't we think of that?! 3/

#China has decided to take global commodity bulls by their horns — to protect the profit margins of its #SmallBusinesses

businessinsider.in/policy/news/ch…

By @iyer_sriram Image
@iyer_sriram The government in #Beijing has ordered its state firms to stop buying commodities like iron ore, copper, aluminium, zinc and others from foreign countries, according to a Bloomberg report, which cited sources it didn’t name.

#China #SmallBusinesses
@iyer_sriram This has led to a sharp dent in sentiment in global commodity markets. Even in India, the metal stocks, which were in the middle of a historic rally, took a dive soon after the news broke.

A little thread about how actual #independentbookshops are now providing customers with a viable alternative to Am*z*n! #SmallBusinesses who pay their taxes can supply customers with 500k+ #books to choose from while still supporting bricks and mortar shops 🙏 RT please 1/10
Bookshop.org started in the US of A early last year. Many #bookshops in the USA found it a lifeline to help survive #lockdown. The UK launch was brought forward when #lockdown2 was on the cards in the UK to try to help #indiebookshops in the UK in the same way. 2/10
Customers can order books online from a selection of hundreds of thousands of #books for #homedelivery and nominate a chosen #bookshop to get a cut of the profits (instead of Am*z*n!) 🙌3/10

Watching the decimation of small businesses by authoritarian edicts, there comes a point when all business owners need to unite & push back by opening their doors in a safe & responsible way. 1/3

bit.ly/PASReport-Ep131
Owners of #SmallBusinesses have complied & they have taken every precaution to ensure safety.

Civil disobedience = the refusal to comply with certain laws or to pay taxes and fines, as a peaceful form of political protest. 2/3
How much longer are we going to stand by and watch elected officials, drunk on power, destroy lives & livelihoods? Particularly as the officials defy their own decrees. This is when governments become a tool of injustice. 3/3

So I'd like to ask the Twitter Universe for some advice.

1/?

I can help #SmallBusinesses with advice, but lack bandwidth now for consistent posting to raise profile. I also struggle with #LinkedIn, which is more #salesfocused than collaborative.
2/?

I understand the need for #SalesFocus, but often find it a little one dimensional, given there are other #growthpaths like #partnerships, #educationprogrammes and others.
3/?

With #RegenAgri, the need for education is often better understood, since it can be a complex area.

But often people in this sector are not great at story telling, and need support with that.

Providing a simple solution to this seems crazily difficult.

A tremendous amount of ink has been spilled discussing the supposed quandary of the #equity market’s robust recovery since March, while at the same time #economic improvement has been more uneven and uncertain.
At the heart of this misunderstanding is an apples-to-oranges comparison: the fact is that the #stock #market and the #economy, while connected, are two meaningfully distinct entities.
As a case in point, the correlation between domestic corporate #profits and #GDP #growth collapsed in the 1990s and has hovered near zero for the past three decades. Image

The #HeroesAct, the #coronavirus bill we are voting on today, contains several important priorities I fought for. While the bill could go further, I’m pleased with much of what we secured. 1/12
The bill boosts funds for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (#SNAP) by 15%. In my district, I’ve seen lines at local food banks. Families need this assistance. 2/12
It provides a second round of more substantial economic stimulus payments consisting of $1,200 per family member, and up to $6,000 per household to ease the financial burden that many are experiencing due to #COVID19. 3/12

Small Business Crisis Amidst the #COVID19 Pandemic:

#WastedManagement #WasteOfManagement

WM abuses #smallbusinesses in the best of times yet exploits their worst moments: retirement; business exit; need to switch to a more competitive service.

Call for a national & California review of @WasteManagement contract disputes with #smallbusinesses to explore a #classaction lawsuit.

It is time to #TakeOutTheTrashPandemic.

I am hearing horror stories during this unprecedented health & economic crisis from micro-businesses.

Fadness says city will also create rapid response teams to address popup #coronavirus outbreaks, and offer public health advice to businesses on how to reopen safely.
Fishers will set up $500K loan fund for #SmallBusinesses to help them reopen.

There are 30.7M small businesses in the U.S. which account for 99.9% of all U.S. businesses (SBA, 2019)

SBA defines a #SmallBusiness as a firm having fewer than 500 employees.
This means that many highly valued startups in the U.S fit within this definition of small businesses. Image
The definition of a #SmallBusiness varies across the world.

For comparison, in the European Union any business that has fewer than 50 employees is considered a small business.

In Australia, companies with fewer than 15 employees are considered small businesses.
#SmallBusiness stats show that most businesses in America have fewer than 500 employees.

Those businesses with fewer than 100 employees account for 98.2% and those w/fewer than 20 employees account for 89%of all businesses in the country.

A few weeks after the March lows in #risk asset prices, and highs in #volatility, we appear to be settling into something of a new equilibrium for #markets: FX vol has dropped recently, as has rates vol, but #commodities, EM and equities continue to swing fairly dramatically. Image
It’ll be interesting to see if less punitive cross-currency hedging costs for foreign #investors result in a greater demand for U.S. #assets in the months to come, and if so, where precisely #capital flows.
Further, the potential for greater foreign #investment is merely one #technical tailwind to risk at this stage, with another being the lower potential for position “unwinds” from here (as CTA, risk parity and #risk control funds combined to sell billions in equity already)…

UPDATE on #PPP in thread below:
1/7: Several large FinTech companies are ready to join as lenders as soon as @USTreasury releases their nonbank lender form. This is very important as it will expand lending capacity dramatically especially for #SmallBusinesses locked out by bank
#PPP UPDATE 2/7: Still waiting for @SBAgov & @USTreasury to release a program guide for #PPPloans which would provide clarity on a number of questions still holding back some lenders. We need this NOW.
#PPP UPDATE 3/7: @federalreserve announced today it will help clear up more space on lender balance sheets to issue #PPPloans by either making #PPP more attractive to secondary market buyers, or by buying #PPP loans from lenders directly. Details this week.
